We support the Education Writers Association awarding an annual cash prize (and bowler hat) to the author / producer / originator of a work of journalism that helps to further the national conversation about low-income college completion. The bowler hat is a tribute to our foundation’s benefactor and namesake, Edwin Gould, who, in his lifetime, was often photographed wearing such a cap.
- First prize: $7,500 and a bowler hat
WE HAVE A WINNER!
