President & CEO

Cynthia Rivera Weissblum was appointed CEO in 2007. She joined the Foundation after a 20-year career investing in and supporting strategies that address the achievement gap, which prevents large numbers of young people from graduating high school, succeeding in college and achieving long-term economic self-sufficiency. She previously served as CEO of Results Collaborative Group, Ltd., a consulting firm dedicated to effective philanthropy and program development, and as President and CEO of Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO). She also served as Director of the New York State Mentoring Program under Governor Cuomo’s Decade of the Child Initiative. She holds two advanced degrees from the State University of New York at Albany, Educational Specialist in Counseling Psychology and Master of Science in Counseling Psychology and Student Development.






Senior Accountant & Treasurer

Nana Tam began her tenure at the Foundation while pursuing her BA in accounting at Baruch College. Upon graduation, she began full time at the Foundation, supporting the Chief Financial Officer.



Grants Coordinator

Stephanie Arantowicz assists Gould Partners and potential grantees, and works toward promoting collaboration and providing increased services and support to Gould Partners. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2007, she worked in development for several educational and human services not-for-profit organizations. She is a graduate of Alvernia University in Pennsylvania.


Administrative Coordinator

Laura Sanchez, a graduate from the College of Charleston, began her tenure at the Foundation in March 2010. As the Administrative Coordinator, she serves as the front line of daily communication for internal and external constituencies, provides administrative support and coordinates activities within the Foundation.
