How to Apply for Grants
The Edwin Gould Foundation convenes a limited number of social entrepreneurs and invests on a long-term basis. Through this incubation model, the Foundation addresses the achievement gap, life-skills chasm and college-bound information divide that prevent underserved young people from entering and graduating from college.
To be considered for support, applicants must:
- address at least one of Edwin Gould Foundation’s target areas: academic rigor, life/leadership skills and college-bound information
- be the leader and primary decision-maker working on the initiative full time
- have a demonstrable commitment of no less than three years to the initiative
- value cooperation and be willing to share resources and leverage assets for the benefit of other associates
- have the potential for expansion
- possess an entrepreneurial style
- demonstrate dedication and drive in their area of interest
To apply, applicants must submit a two-page Letter of Intent. If invited to continue the application process, applicants will be asked to submit a full proposal.
